With the Pixel 10 series launch nearing its approach at the “Made by Google” event next week, Google has now given an official first look at its next foldable phone as well. The upcoming Pixel 10 Pro Fold will have a similar design to last year’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold, but we’re expecting some meaningful upgrades elsewhere.
What we know about the Pixel 10 Pro Fold so far
The short teaser video that Google posted on its “Made By Google” YouTube account starts with some shadowy glimpses of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Before ultimately unveiling the main display and the back design of the phone, which reveals its similarity with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
And thanks to reliable leakster Evan Blass, we have our first look at its official render as well. This gives us a much clearer look at the phone in all its “Moonstone Gray” glory. While the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is also rumored to ship in green and gold colorways.

Rumored specifications
Although there doesn’t seem to be any design changes this time, we can surely expect upgrades in the performance department. It is expected to be powered by the same Tensor G5 chip as the Pixel 10 lineup. And what’s interesting is that it will be the first Tensor chip powering a Pixel device that is manufactured by TSMC instead of Samsung.
Other than this, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could be the first foldable with a proper IP68 dust/water resistant as well. We have had IP48-rated foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and even an IP58/59-rated one like the Honor Magic V5, so if true, this would make Google’s foldable mighty impressive.
Whereas leaks suggest that Google will also bump the cover display from 6.3 to 6.4 inches this time. Even though the main display is likely to stay at 8 inches. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold might have a higher peak brightness of 3,000 nits, a larger 5,015 mAh battery, and Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, too. And of course, it will boot on Android 16 out of the box.
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold Price and Launch Date
Alongside the rest of the Pixel 10 lineup, the Pixel Watch 4, and the Pixel Buds 2a, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is officially arriving on August 20 at 1 PM Eastern time. Aka 10:45 PM Nepal Time. And considering that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold went for USD 1,799, we’re expecting its successor to be priced similarly as well.
