Honor Magic 7 launched in China with 3X telephoto camera and SD 8 Elite!

Honor’s Magic 7 series has arrived in China with the latest snapdragon 8 Elite. The series comes with various upgrades over its predecessor. But in this article, we will discuss more exclusively the vanilla Honor Magic 7, including its expected price in Nepal.

Honor Magic 7 Overview

Display and Design

The Honor Magic 7 features Honor Rhino Glass Protection, providing 10 times more drop resistance. It has an IP68 and IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, making it durable in various conditions. The device includes a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader for secure unlocking. The camera module retains a squircle shape but has been redesigned to remove the previous triangular layout.

It sports a 6.78-inch straight screen with a 120Hz refresh rate that adjusts between 1Hz and 120Hz using 8T LTPO technology. The display offers a global peak brightness of 1600 nits and a local peak brightness of 5000 nits, along with 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for eye comfort.

Performance

Under the hood, the Honor Magic 7 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is paired with memory up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage option.

Cameras

The Honor Magic 7 features a 50MP front camera. It is equipped with a 50MP main camera using the OVH9000 sensor, which has a 1/1.3-inch size and an f/1.9 aperture with optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, the device includes a 50MP ultra-wide camera for capturing expansive views and a 50MP telephoto camera that offers 3x optical zoom and up to 50x digital zoom, complete with OIS.

Battery

The Honor Magic 7 has a 5650mAh battery for extended usage. It supports 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. The device also features a self-developed E2 Efficiency Chip for improved charging efficiency and battery performance.
